Northwest ISD’s new after-school program for 2017-18, AlphaBest, will soon host job fairs and family meetings for community members as it ramps up preparations for the coming school year.
Meet-and-greet family meetings will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 2 and 9 in the Northwest ISD administration building’s board room, located at 2001 Texan Drive in Fort Worth. At these meetings, parents and guardians of elementary children can learn about the program and its offerings.
For those interested in applying for after-school jobs at Northwest ISD campuses with AlphaBest, job fairs will be held May 9 and 15. On May 9, the job fair will last from 9:30 to 11 a.m. as well as 12:30 to 2 p.m. On May 15, the job fair will last from 6 to 8:30 p.m. These events will also take place at the Northwest ISD administration building, though they will take place in PDC rooms B and D; staff or signs will be available to direct attendees.
AlphaBest was selected as Northwest ISD’s after-school program provider beginning in 2017-18 after placing first in a field of six candidates. The company currently offers its services at several area school districts, including Frisco ISD, Lake Dallas ISD and Prosper ISD.
